DCS Terms & Conditions

Welcome to DCS. We specialise in providing high-quality video production services tailored to corporate needs. By engaging our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Project Initiation and Payment Terms

  • A deposit of 50% of the total quoted amount is required to commence any project. This deposit is non-refundable and confirms your booking.
  • The final 50% of the payment is due at the time of the final content handover to the client.
  • All payments are to be made in AUD via bank transfer.
  • If payment is made by Credit Card a 3% fee will be added.

2. Cancellation and Postponement

  • After a booking confirmation has been reached (via email, phone, etc.), any cancellation or postponement of agreed working dates will attract a cancellation fee of 50% of the production day cost.
  • This fee compensates for the reservation of time and loss of potential business.

3. Project Scope and Estimates

  • The provided quote is an estimate based on the initial project scope discussed. As creative projects can evolve, the scope may change once the project has kicked off and more details are uncovered.
  • The editing estimate is subject to change based on the number of revisions requested or new complexities arising during filming.
  • Any changes to the project scope, including additional costs, will be communicated and require mutual agreement before proceeding.

4. Revisions and Additional Work

  • Any revisions or additional work requested beyond the initial agreed-upon project scope will be subject to additional charges.
  • The client will be informed of these charges before the commencement of any additional work or revisions.

5. Intellectual Property

  • Upon full payment, DCS grants the client a license to use the final video content for their specified purposes. However, all raw footage, preliminary edits, and creative materials remain the property of DCS, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
  • DCS reserves the right to use the final video, or portions thereof, for promotional purposes, unless expressly forbidden by the client in writing.

6. Liability
