Founded in 2012, DCS began its journey with a landmark project, a 5-camera production at the MusicACT Music Awards, setting the stage for a decade of innovation and excellence in visual storytelling. From our origins in a Canberra home office to the creation of the Canberra’s only full-size production studio, The Backlot, our path has been one of innovation, creativity, and growth.

Our groundbreaking work includes being the first video production company to film inside the Federal Treasury’s Budget lockup and providing an all-access pass to film and photograph at Parliament House on Budget night.
